Founder, Green Book Global Founder & CEO of Green Book Global, the First Black Travel Review App/Site. GBG was inspired by Lawrence's 30 country, 7 continent adventure where he noticed a lack of resources that could provide destination insights on safety or the "Traveling While Black" experience, so he decided to create one.

Lawrence Phillips is the founder of Green Book Global, the first and only travel review app (iOS/Android) and website that enables Black travelers to plan trips with confidence and less anxiety by providing user-generated travel insights from the Black perspective, in particular about what it is like Traveling While Black.
The app gives cash back for booking with some of the most popular travel brands (Expedia, Marriott, Priceline etc.) and pays Black travelers to share destination reviews. Additionally, the app has a Driving While Black Road Trip Planner to help Black travelers find the safest routes when taking roads trips in the USA, an International Black-Friendly Destination tool to find welcoming cities across the globe, and an AI Trip Planner that can plan your trip in less than 30 seconds based on Black Traveler reviews.
Having completed the Expedia Group Accelerator in 2023, Lawrence is ready to make Green Book Global become the go-to booking and travel review platform for Black travelers worldwide.
